This frosting can be used on any cake or cupcake recipe, and they are especially delicious on our Black Cherry Creme Soda Cupcakes.


1 Can Cream Cheese Frosting (I prefer Duncan Hines)

¼ teaspoon Cherry (or Vanilla) Extract

2 teaspoons reserved Black Cherry Jello

Optional: 2 drops red  food coloring


Beat until well mixed and frost cooled cupcakes.  Makes 24 cupcakes  Sometimes, for an extra cherry flavor, I fill the cupcakes with some of your Cherry Butter.
