1 box refrigerated pie crust
1 T milk
heart-shaped cookie cutter
Preheat oven to 375.
Cut as many heart-shaped pieces as possible, re-rolling pie crust scraps as needed.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix egg and milk to make an egg wash.
Place half of the hearts on the prepared pan. Wet the edges of the hearts with the egg wash.
Place a small amount of cherry pie filling in the center of each heart.
Place a small x in the center of each remaining heart. (or use mini cookie cutter to create a shape)
Place the x-ed hearts on the hearts containing the pie filling. Press and crimp edges.
Brush the top of each pie with egg wash and sprinkle on sugar.
Bake 14-16 minutes until crust is browned. Let cool.
