This recipe comes to us from a customer, Theresa P. She shared it with us at this year’s National Cherry Festival. Don’t forget to make the Black Cherry Frosting too!


1 3 Oz Package Black Cherry Flavored Jello

1 Package White Cake Mix (I prefer Duncan Hines)

1 4 Serving sized package instant Cheesecake Pudding and Pie Filling Mix

1 ¼ Cups Twiggs’ Swig Black Cherry Creme Soda

4 Eggs

1/3 Cup Oil

1 Teaspoon Cherry Extract (or Vanilla)


Preheat oven to 350 degrees…. Line 24 muffin cups with paper baking cups. Set aside 2 teaspoons of jello for frosting. In bowl, beat remaining jello, cake mix, pudding mix, black cherry crème soda, eggs, oil, and extract. Spoon batter into prepared pans, filling each about 2/3 full. Bake 18-20 minutes.  Cool completely.
