Ingredients

1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker’s sugar cookie mix, reserve 1/3 cup

4 oz. Benjamin Twiggs Michigan Dried Cherries

1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
8 oz. milk chocolate chips, melted

Directions

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Prepare cookie mix according to package directions, reserving 1/3 cup of cookie mix; set aside.

Toss cherries with remaining cookie mix; add walnuts and toss until cherries and walnuts are coated well with cookie mix. Fold in prepared cookie dough until well blended.

Using a 1-inch scoop, scoop and drop cookie dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until cookies are set and still pale in color. Remove from the oven and let set 5 minutes, and then remove cookies onto a rack to cool.

When cookies are cooled, drizzle with chocolate. Makes 2 dozen.
